About

We listen, act, and transform

Life can be hard! Transitions can be overwhelming. I love working with individuals and families impacted by trauma, whether it be life circumstances, medical, or foster care and adoption. I walk alongside people who want to try something new as they figure things out in this crazy world. I will never judge you, but may gently challenge you. My work with children includes caregivers in the therapeutic process as I believe caregivers are the most influential change agents in their child's life and are a part of the healing. The greatest healing generally takes place within relationships and I love helping to facilitate that process. For over 20 years I have worked with individuals and families impacted by traumatic experiences who are wanting to find relief. I am trained in EMDR, TBRI, the Safe and Sound Protocol, and more, and work with adults wanting to heal from traumatic experiences. I generally use a play-based approach with children, teaching skill building and regulation. Even with great friends and a support system, sometimes we get stuck. For those who feel alone, the struggle is even greater. Sometimes it's helpful to find someone you can trust to be tender with your wounds, firm if you need to be challenged, or help you to look at things through a fresh lens. If this makes sense to you, feel free to reach out.
